Electric Stimulation (Interferential Current) for pain relief:
Dr. Hans Nemec first developed interferential current in Autria in 1950. It spread to the US in the 1970's and has been used by thousands of healthcare professionals to help with pain relief.
Traditional indications for interferential current are:
- Pain Relief
- Muscle Spasm relief
- Edema Reduction
- Increased tissue healing
What to expect from a treatment with Doctor Morse:
Example: If your low back is being treated, you lay face down and 4 sticky electrodes are placed around the area of pain. The electrodes are attached to cords that are attached to the machine. Doctor Morse slowly turns up the frequency until you start to feel tingling and a deep massage like feeling. You also have heat pads applied over the area to maximize circulation and healing.
- The therapy never is painful
- It is relaxing
- It is very safe
After 15-20 minutes of treatment on an area Doctor Morse will then assess you for a spinal manipulation.
Frequency Specific Microcurrent for pain relief:
What is microcurrent? Micro current is current in millionths of an ampere. An ampere is a measure of the movement of electrons past a point. Microamperage current is the same kind of current your body produces on its own within each cell. This is current in millionths of an amp. It is very small; there is not enough current to stimulate sensory nerves so the current flow cannot be felt. You can tell it is running by watching the conductance meter on the machine.
Trigger Point Injections for pain relief:
By injecting a solution of Anesthetic and Sterile Water into your tight knotted muscle, Doctor Morse will relieve the spasms in your muscles and then when the anesthetic wears off, you muscles stay relaxed.
Post treatment recommendations are to always consume 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water a day and include a good Magnesium Supplement in your regimen: 300-800 mg per day
